Happy 32nd Birthday to my Hubby

Today is Kearby's 32nd birthday. Yesterday my mom cooked him his favorite chicken fried steak, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and a coconut cream cake. He was in heaven. Tonight we have a babysitter coming and we are going out to dinner and a movie to celebrate. Happy Birthday Kearby! Thank you for being a wonderful father and husband. We love you!

My little sunshine

Kearby took the most adorable pictures of Mary Claire last night in the tub. I was out with my mom getting stuff together for a baby shower. When I got home he had these precious pictures on the camera. I had to share them!

Summer Evenings

Last night Maddie had a friend over to play. They rode her 4 wheeler and tried to catch a grass hopper Kearby found. Mary Claire enjoyed watching them until she got too hot and came in for a scrub in the tub. Summer is my favorite time of the year but even I am ready for fall. It is so hot here you can hardly spend anytime outside. Kearby and I are trying to decide what to do this weekend to celebrate his 32ND birthday. I just talk to him and told him between Flint and Maddie we have 4 birthday parties so hopefully we'll find time to celebrate. Have a great week!

Smocked Bubbles and Good Haircuts

I love smocked bubbles on my babies. Mary Claire wore the cutest one today with caterpillars on it. Bubbles have always been my favorite thing to dress my babies in. They are so cute and so easy. I dressed Flint in them until my mom said "OK that's enough, he's a boy."

Flint got a really cute haircut today. We had let his hair grow long and shaggy which was cute but for summer I was needing a little cleaner cut. Have you ever seen a 7 year old with so much hair?

Happy 4th of July

We had a fun day at the lake with all the Howards. Flint loves tubing with his teenage cousins. He loves hanging out with the big boys. Maddie had fun jumping on the water trampoline. Mary Claire took 2 naps while we were at the lake and had fun watching everyone when she was awake. Tomorrow we plan on doing yard work and hanging out with my parents. Hope everyone had a great day!

40th Wedding Anniversary

Since I am so behind on blogging I have a lot of things I want to share from the past 3 months. On May 25th my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. We all clebrated at my sister's house in Tyler. This is a picture of my parents with all 8 of their grandkids. Their ages range from 11 to 1 year. Congratulations Mom and Dad you have a lot to be proud of!

Just a Swingin

We had a pretty uneventful day. When Mary Claire got up from her afternoon nap we played outside in the water. I caught all 3 of them swinging at the same time so I snapped a picture. Maddie thinks since Flint doesn't wear a shirt when he swims she doesn't have to either. Kearby only works half a day tomorrow and he has Friday off for the 4th. We are headed to the lake Friday to spend the 4th with the Howards. I hope everyone has a great long weekend!

Mexico

This is the first summer in 3 summers that we chose to vacation instead of play baseball. Mike and Cassie (Kearby's dad and step-mom)took us to Mexico. We had a gorgeous villa on the beach with a pool. We were near the little town of Tulum, about 90 miles south of Cancun. All of us went except for Mary Claire and my mom and sister so graciously keep her for 5 nights (thanks guys). It was Maddie's first plane ride which did not phase her. For those of you who know Maddie understand. Kearby's step sister and her family also went with us and Maddie had a great time playing with her girls. Flint and Kearby did big boy stuff like swim with dolphins, snorkel and kayak. Thanks Mike and Cassie for a fabulous vacation!!!!!!!

Where have I been????????

Wow! I sure have taken the time to read all my favorite blogs but I have not updated in nearly 3 months. I am sure I have no readers at this point.

First and foremost yesterday was my baby girl's 1st birthday. This year literally has flown by. Kearby and I are having a hard time with her turning 1. Since she is our last we want her to stay a baby. She is so precious and has been such a joy. God went above and beyond when he sent Mary Claire to us. We had a little party for her this past weekend with all her little cousins. She weighs exactly 20 pounds and loves to dance, stick her tongue out like a lizard and wave bye-bye. Her favorite person in the entire world is Flint. She goes crazy when she sees him.
