My Girls

I know these are not the best pictures, but I had to post. The first picture is of Maddie and Mary Claire looking at books in the "reading corner" of Maddie's room. The next picture is how I found Maddie last night when I walked in my room. I had told her a few minutes earlier to get in bed and she said she had to go tell daddy good night. Well, I guess they started talking and this is how I found her. Today she told Kearby, "Daddy you are such my hero." And we wonder why he lets her get away with anything.

Maddie's First Day of Pre-K

Today is Maddie's first day of Pre-K. This is her last year of pre-school. She will go 5 mornings a week. She was very excited and didn't even tell me bye. All of her girlfriends are in her class. Flint and Maddie are both back in school and Mary Claire is taking a nap so it is time for Mommy to get caught up on some house work! Have a great Week!

First Day of 2nd Grade

I can't believe my precious first born baby is starting 2ND grade. Time is flying by so fast. Kearby usually takes him to school every morning except for the first day because I like to walk him in. Well, "Mr. Cool" said he didn't need anyone to walk him in this year. It made me want to cry. Maddie starts Pre-K tomorrow so I'll have pictures to post of her tomorrow. Here's my handsome boy off to school!

Mary Claire's 1 year Check-up

We went for Mary Claire's one year check up yesterday and yes I know I am a month and a half late. She weighs 22 pounds and is 29 1/2 inches long which puts her right at the 50 percentile. The Doctor comes in and says she is perfect. I said well tell me something I don't know!!!!!!! Anyway I go on to tell the doctor no she isn't walking and yes she still takes a bottle and I hope all this is OK with you because she is our baby and we are not ready for her to walk or stop taking her bottle. I just convinced my hubby to stop buying expensive formula since she can have whole milk now that she is 1. He said he can't stand the thought of never buying formula again. He would have 10 kids but I am happy with my 3. So if you want to know what my 13 month old is up to just take a look she likes to suck on markers that her 4 year old sister leaves on the floor!

Happy 32nd Birthday to my Hubby

Today is Kearby's 32nd birthday. Yesterday my mom cooked him his favorite chicken fried steak, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and a coconut cream cake. He was in heaven. Tonight we have a babysitter coming and we are going out to dinner and a movie to celebrate. Happy Birthday Kearby! Thank you for being a wonderful father and husband. We love you!

My little sunshine

Kearby took the most adorable pictures of Mary Claire last night in the tub. I was out with my mom getting stuff together for a baby shower. When I got home he had these precious pictures on the camera. I had to share them!

World Horse Show

My dad's horse won 2nd in the world horse show last weekend. My mom was there with him in Tulsa. Congratulations Dad!
